Student at the University of Maryland College Park in the Robert H. Smith School of Business. I am currently studying finance and looking for internships as a consultant or financial advisor.This spring, I graduated from Anne Arundel Community College with an Assoicates degree. During my time at Anne Arundel Community College, I made the Dean's list, the Honor's list, and I was in Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. I also maintained a 3.6 GPA. For the past year and a half, I worked for Firehouse Subs in Gambrills and worked my way up to Assistant General Manager. As assistant manager, I managed inventory, ordered food and supplies, managed employees, interviewed possible new employees, helped with scheduling, managed deposits, and resolved customer complaints. I also worked as a seasonal intern at Clark and Anderson P.A. in Glen Burnie. This was an opportunity for me see what the life of an accountant looks like. As an intern, I was responsible for assembling tax returns, checking in and out customers tax returns and paperwork, assisting the accountants with anything they needed, filing paperwork, and making copies. Another company I worked for was C & C Office Solutions. This opportunity allowed me to learn the most. I learned how business owners run their companies, what their responsibilities are, and the challenges they have to overcome. While working here I was responsible for managing inventory, answering phone calls, scheduling service calls, and managing product installs and deliveries.
