Michelle Adams is a seasoned business leader with a diversified 30-year career that includes federal service as well as industry executive leadership in contracts, supply chain and export controls for large and small businesses. With expertise in domestic and international business, Michelle is an accomplished strategic thinker, with mature business acumen, and an uncanny skill for building sincere trust relationships with her customers. As a leader, she has an infectious optimism and courage in forging new paths forward for her customers.Michelle is currently the Vice President of Contracts and Supply Chain, as well as the Export Controls Empowered Official and Corporate Ethics Officer for Research Innovations Incorporated (RII), a cutting-edge software development company, where she is responsible for all contracting, subcontracting, and export-import operations actions. Prior to her time at RII, Michelle led a team of contracts professionals in support of a $1B portfolio in Raytheon’s Intelligence, Information and Services business, where she was instrumental in growing Raytheon’s cyber security footprint. Prior to Raytheon, Michelle was a Contracting Officer in the Central Intelligence Agency, following almost a decade in the USN’s Naval Sea Systems Command’s Contracts Directorate where she executed all levels of acquisition planning and implementation in support of the Aegis Weapon System and Foreign Military Sales for the Japanese and Spanish fleets.Michelle earned a Master of Public Administration degree from Texas A&M University, where she published a white paper supporting the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in its commercialization of space efforts and completed an internship at the Pentagon supporting the Navy R&D’s presidential budget submission prior to graduation. She is a long-term, active member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA), the premier organization in the world that provides training, development, and certifications for contracts professionals, having previously held an elected position on the national level Strategic Planning Committee.Michelle resides in Maryland where she and her husband have raised their four children and two English Bulldogs.
