Worked with Center for Technology Transfer and Enterprise Creation at CMU on a new software technology from CMU on project management software for the construction industry. Gathered solid information via customer interviews etc., synthesized it into a cogent analysis of the market, competition, and opportunity. 2. Worked with a team of MBAs to develop a business plan for a new healthcare technology from John Hopkins University on "Virtual reality software for Surgeons". Studied market, market characteristics, customer segmentation, competition, distribution mechanism, product research, risks, business model.3. Member of Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital (EVC) Club at Tepper School of Business at CMU. Participated in their January trek to Silicon Valley visiting Kauffman Fellows, Plug & Play, Accel Partners, Battery Ventures, Bloom Energy etc.

I worked on Linux and Nework File Systems(NFS), the most widely used Distributed File Systems Protocol. I developed a new Linux copy() system call and a Linux NFS Client and Server adoped by the Linux open source community, also helps improve performance of virtual machine cloning.

I worked on Distributed File Systems for Data Ontap, the leading Network Attached Storage storage solution. I worked on NFSv3/4.x (participating in all phases including the implementation, design and standardization), contributed to the NFSv4.2 IETF protocol, co-authoring the Copy offload NFSv4.2 protocol, building the first copy offload NFS prototype, delved into some related security problems, virtualization, file systems. I also worked on a collaborative project with VMWare working on the initial phase of vStorage i.e. storage for virtual data centers using the vStorage APIs for Array Integration (VAAI).
