Hey there. I am an art director, published children’s book author + illustrator and director. I am a firm believer great work does not come from where you work but who you work with and any opportunity can beget great work. My first commercial was a One Show Gold-winning Super Bowl spot which was voted #2 on the Yahoo! Super Bowl meter and I haven’t stopped pushing since. Subsequently, I’ve been fortunate to build value in brands across almost every industry including JetBlue, creating their most successful campaign in company history with a shoe-string budget. I’ve had work recognized in almost every awards show including Cannes, One Show, Webbie , LIA, Hatch and others. I just recently finished a six-year stint as Chief Creative Officer at an agency I co-founded call The Grist. There I helped establish agency process, recruit and build a fully-integrated creative team, achieve higher industry-leading metrics for new and current clients. I am fueled by curiosity, bored with templated redundancy and a firm believer laser should be spelled with a “z”.
