• Maintaining a smoothly run sales floor (right people, right place, right time).• Ensuring high standards are maintained throughout each department.• Staffing daily and weekly rosters and authorising holidays and time off.• Ensuring I have inputted 4 weeks rostering ahead.• Attending daily management meetings.• Liaising with the Accuracy and Availability team to control stock as well as managing and planning their time.• Planning and organising the launch of seasonal layouts and promotions.• Coordinating deliveries.• First point of call to deal with customer complaints and queries.• Implementing company policies.• Making sure all members of staff adhere strictly to all data protection.• Signing visitors in - making sure I use the correct procedure and inform them with all the relevant information needed e.g. fire exits. I also need to regularly monitor my team ensuring they follow these procedures correctly also.• Ensuring new members of staff have had the relevant training. Monitoring them over 4-6 weeks, giving regular feedback and dealing with any problems/questions they may have.• Managing 3 departments, in total a team of 20 staff increasing to 25 around peak times.
