Regarding reproductive health as general health is essential to advancing reproductive autonomy and expanding the breadth of accessible health information.I graduated with a double major in Biochemistry and Neuroscience from DePauw University in 2023, where I gained holistic perspectives regarding relevant scientific questions. Here, I performed my Honor Scholar thesis on the effect of hormonal contraceptives on the cortisol stress response. My work recognizing the complexities of contraception and reproductive healthcare directed me to the Center for Reproductive Science at Northwestern University. Currently, I am a graduate student of Reproductive Science and Medicine and a graduate researcher in the Converse Lab. My research aims to investigate potential drivers of macrophage-derived multi-nucleated giant cells in the aging ovary. These experiences have provided me generous opportunities in the field of reproductive science, and I hope to continue research in this field pursuing a PhD focused on reproductive aging or other gynecological diseases while taking a specific interest in scientific communication and writing.My passion for learning and reproductive science will aid in communicating the importance of expanded reproductive health guidance and education.
