While pursuing my Bachelors degree in Journalism, I have fallen in love with the ability to connect with members of my community and help tell and share their stories. My news and feature writing skills have helped me do this effectively without losing the emotions that come with each individual story. I was grateful to be able to advance my storytelling skills even further, in the community that I grew up in, while interning for KETV Newswatch 7 in the summer of 2022. My social media marketing skills have also helped me reach broader audiences and push my creative instincts. I am well-trained and know what the traditional audiences are looking for, yet youthful and in touch with what the next generation wants.
