The Futures program is the start of the Olympic Development Pipeline and nearly all U.S. Women's National Team members and Olympians participated in the Futures Program. Futures is also one of the premier collegiate recruiting opportunities in the United States, with more than 80% of current Division I athletes having participated in the Futures program.

In our first season together, we won sectionals, regionals, and made it to the state championship. We lost 2-1 in the state semi-finals. It was a disappointing loss, but an incredible first season coaching.Six of my girls were named to the all-league teams, two were named to the all-state team, and one of my girls was named player of the year. I was also named coach of the year for division II.

We focused on retinal development of Zebrafish, primarily stem cell behavior and the Wnt signaling pathway.
