- Utilize district provided curriculums including Fly Leaf, HMH Into Reading, Heggerty, Families Matter! Program and Sonday to provide effective and engaging instruction to 15+ students that aligns with WIDA standards- Provide sheltered instruction to students K-5 using variety of SIOP and GLAD strategies in pull out 1:1, small groups and push-in support to assist in building acquisition of the English language and core content

- Engage in experiential learning with students attending drop-in hours looking for information on jobs and internships in careers and various industries while maintaining student confidentiality in accordance with FERPA- Present innovative project ideas focusing on promoting student engagement with resources and access to information to build confidence and autonomy among the student body and alumni- Prioritize tasks and organize a high volume of time sensitive projects by using Trello and Outlook calendar and communicate effectively with a team of 10+ including professional staff and student employees- Engage with diverse members of the community such as incoming and current students, parents, and employers through events for admitted students along with school wide and industry specific career fairs- Review 200+ students’ resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn and Handshake profiles during 30-minute appointments to assist in creating more effective application materials and build student’s career skills and knowledge

- Utilize district provided curriculums including Math Expressions, Into Reading, Second Step, and TCI Bring Science Alive to provide effective and engaging instruction that aligns with Washington State Standards-Use formative and summative assessment to gather data about student comprehension to better differentiate instruction to meet the needs of 19 students-Actively engage in reflection and implement feedback from Cooperating Teacher and Field Instructor to improve on teaching practices and classroom management strategies

Developed and implemented math and reading curriculum for the 50+ children ages 5-13 in the afterschool program to help students grow confidence with the skills they learn in the classroom Maintained positive relationships and effective communication with parents about child's behavior, academic progress and socialization in the program to build trust between staff and families Served as a substitute when other programs needed backup support and worked at over 10 Elementary schools in Pierce and Kitsap counties engaging with 100+ children During the COVID-19 pandemic the program shifted to an all-day camp. Acted as a lead teacher with a class of 15 students ranging from kindergarten age to 7th grade
