At Jacht, the only student run advertising agency at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I wrote and edited cross-platform copy for a variety of local clients including Nebraska Diamond, Community Crops and Nebraska Extension.

During my semester as Senior A&E Editor, I managed a staff of around 20 reporters as well as a $1,500 monthly budget. I assisted in the planning and editing of our monthly DN magazine in addition to editing and publishing 6-10 stories online every night.

At the Daily Nebraskan, I reported on unique people and events in the Lincoln community with an emphasis on the arts community. I sought out exciting individuals to report on and worked with my editors and other reporters to create content to appeal to a wide variety of readers on and off campus.This position helped me to connect with new people on campus.
