• Fielding, assessing and advising on a broad variety of development-related queries in accordance with the local planning scheme as well as:
• Performing ‘properly made’ checks for development application lodgements against legislation;
• Preparing domestic-scale development application assessments; and
• Communicating planning matters and complexities with stakeholders via verbal and written explanation, recommendations and mitigations/solutions.

• Ensuring building and land use compliance within the local government area by:
• Analysing active cases against relevant building and planning legislation;
• Issuing Show Cause and Enforcement Notices on behalf of Council; and
• Leading critical review of internal building and asset policies and procedures for business improvement and continued compliance.
