In my time being on this beautiful place known as mother earth, Papatūānuku I have worked in a variety of jobs, from picking grapes in multiple orchards all over Napier/Hastings areas, to packing packing grading and sorting trays for a local apple packhouse in the Hastings area. I've lived in Sydney for a year where I worked in warehousing, learning using RF scanners and working with deadlines, for companies like DHL and Medline. On my return to the beauty of green hues of grass, trees and plant life I took on different roles such as voluntering in Kohanga Reo in Te Rakipaewhenua which eventually lead to becoming a paid kaiawhina. After a couple years living in the big apple of Aotearoa, I moved home to where I was born and raised, I worked in a Pub temporarily before moving into a more meaningful role as a Student Admin and Pastoral carer for 2 years, due to the company liquidating I have found myself in a role working with rangatahi which has been lovely as my studies have been based around Social Services and Youth Work. I am a very passionate person who enjoys developing and learning and therefore I have always somehow found time to work, be a fulltime mother and study! I currently study with TWOA Diploma in Rongoā Māori, and have certificates in Rongoā level 4, aswell as Māori Studies level 2,3, & 4.
