I'm very comfortable talking about work, but I am less comfortable talking about myself. So here are five fast(ish) facts about me and my job. 1. I finished up my MBA in 2022, and I only cried a little bit. 2. My ultimate career goal is to work as a creative director, but I'm very happy to currently work as the Director of Marketing for a custom interiors company — a job that gives me tons of creative freedom. 3. I got my undergrad in English, and though I am under no delusions that I will be crafting the next great American novel any time soon, I make sure to take time to stay on top of my writing skills every week. And since good writing is inspired by good reading, you will catch me listening to audiobooks at the gym instead of workout music. Weird, I know. 4. I cut my teeth in the freelance world right out of college and love consulting and working with small businesses to help them improve their online presence and marketing plan. 5. I'm a night owl — I am currently writing this at 2AM — and I've been known to wake up with a new idea and create an entire launch plan or mood board before I can go back to bed.
