I recently embarked on a new endeavor to help my family grow the home inspection company they purchased in October of 2013. While working toward my bachelors in Public Relations I am helping them update the marketing and advertising aspect of the company along with everyday administrative work in the office. While working on re-vamping the company website to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize office efficiency I am also working on updating all social media advertisement.

I do daily uploads and file confidential employee documents, such as new hire I-9’s, affirmative action paperwork, exit interviews, termination paperwork, promotion memo’s and corrective action notices into HRMS employee system. Manage third party Verification of Employment records for current and previous employees. These requests pertain confidential information such as income, position title, reason for termination and dates of employment. These are time sensitive requests due to loans closing, banks auditing income for loans and the buying of homes. I interface and coordinate with the Executive Team, VP of Human Resources and CFO so that we can strategically plan events that recognize outstanding SNC employees. These events tend to be coordinated months in advance for upwards of 450 employees and guests. The planning begins many months in advance and requires very detailed executive summaries, that entail budgeting, multiple vendors to choose from and event schedules, etc. Worked closely with the communication department for 3-6 months creating brochures with Adobe Illustrator. These brochures were given out at career fairs and local events to advertise the amazing and incredible endeavors SNC takes part in. Without much knowledge of Illustrator I quickly self taught and performed to the best of my ability under a very time sensitive deadline. Track and update Excel spreadsheets that are crucial to new hires and terminations each week. Some of these spreadsheets are sent to the accounts payable to track and manage vendors.
