I'm currently studying Fashion Management at Nottingham Trent University, where I have received the opportunity to work on live projects with John Lewis and Paul Smith. I am obsessed with fashion and have loved learning about multiple aspects of the industry, including trend forecasting, marketing principles, garment manufacturing and sustainability, lending me a good depth of knowledge to build my future career. I have previously worked in customer service, firstly at a popular cafe, then at Sainsbury's and now, more recently, at Paul Smith. Working at Paul Smith's head Nottingham office has taught me the importance of collaboration within fashion businesses and given me the experience of working with excel spreadsheets and databases. I have also worked as a picker packer and quality assurance assistant for the lingerie business Wacoal, which offered me a fascinating insight into the manufacturing tier of the supply chain. As a result of my work experience, I have developed excellent communication skills and a love for building relationships with both customers and colleagues. I have a strong work ethic, which is reflected by my past work history, as well as my personal achievements, for example, attaining my grade 8 piano certificate.
