This May (2023), I will be graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Agricultural Business. While in college, I have gained very important experiences and skills that have helped me develop myself as a whole. The summer before college (2020) I worked as a cashier for Rural King and within a month I was promoted to a Customer Service Specialist allowing me to strengthen my Customer Service skills. After starting college, I took a part time position in my hometown at Casey's General Store (2020-2021) as a cashier where I focused on my communication skills as well as my organizational skills. During the summer of both 2021 and 2022, I took an Internship with Co-Alliance as a Field Scout. This position made me think on my feet and further enhance my creative problem solving skills. I was awarded "Best Reports" at the end of the 2022 season as I created reports that were as detailed as possible while making sure farmers were aware of any potential problems that may be occurring with their crops. I took a position as a part time waitress at Parthenon Greek-American Grill in February of 2021 and have remained there while in school. My ability to work in a fast paced environment, stay task oriented, and prioritize have made this job very enjoyable. With graduation approaching, I have been on the search looking for my future career in the Agricultural Industry.
