As an intern at a municipal advisory firm, I gained valuable experience and skills, and used my time there to accomplish the following: used software to structure and forecast various bond transactions, based on discussed needs, for Indiana school corporations and libraries. Created presentations highlighting major bond features and profiling different school corporations across the state to be used in aiding the final decision making process. Math, word, and content proved financial reports and statements for accuracy before filing.

Keeping an athletics program like Indiana University's up and running is not always an easy task, and is especially difficult when technology does not cooperate. As a computer tech specialist, I communicate with my IT team, all IU staff and coaches, and athletes to provide information and solve problems. I analyze any problems that arise and then choose the best solution to implement. Inventory is always kept up to date and is replaced when needed. I am always readily available and flexible so I can help in whatever way to keep all systems working effectively.

Working in a fast paced restaurant always keeps me on my toes. As an expeditor, I get to work behind the scenes most of the time, making sure that all orders are prepared correctly, in good quality and quickly. I also anticipate the needs of our guests and am able to provide them with whatever they may need in a timely and professional manner. I may have to think on the fly to solve any surprise problems that arise in order to keep the restaurant functioning efficiently.

As a coach at BUGS Gym, I got to work with a wide range of kids, spanning from preschool to middle school. I created lesson plans for each group that focused on core foundational skills and gave them feedback on how to improve those skills. I tracked their progress and at the end of the term put together a report and communicate with them what the next level of skill progression would look like.

As the first people customers see when they walk into a business, the front desk receptionist plays a pretty important role. Working in that role, I was responsible for engaging with all customers and providing them with great customer service. I answered questions in person, on the phone and over email. I scheduled condo rentals, event space and golf tee times and recorded them in an organized system to avoid any mistakes. I also communicated across various teams within the resort, making sure information was relayed accurately.
