Substitute Teacher
CurrentEveryday is an adventure. When I come into a new classroom I orient myself to a colleague's distinct routines and rules while implementing my own teaching style. Immediately I begin to build report with students and staff to help everyone have the best day of learning possible. Assessing problems and managing what comes my way as we work through the crafted lesson plan and tend to student's behaviors. My years of classroom experience allow me to transition students from activities with finesse, check for understanding, and reteach concepts as needed. I communicate clear expectations and hold students accountable. At the end of the day, I leave detailed notes to inform staff about behaviors, finished assignments and other pertinent information.
