Resourceful and hardworking, I'm seeking a career that capitalizes on my four years of experience in the social work field, primarily with individuals experiencing homelessness and domestic violence. I utilize knowledge and skills from the micro- to macro-levels of social work including crisis intervention, shelter management, and public policy advocacy to empower individuals in overcoming challenges such as homelessness, mental health conditions, and inequality. As I am both a person of color and part of the LGBTQ+ community, I apply both my personal and professional experience to craft an intersectional lens in order to combat injustices and advocate for more equitable systems. I'm excited to bring my skills and passion to my next career.I recently obtained my Master in Social Work with a specialization in community-centered integrated practice from the University of Washington. Previously, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, a Psychology minor, a Spanish minor, and a certification in wealth and poverty at Ohio University.
