Jr Quality Engineer
Current• Proficiently oversee quality control processes in metal-stamping, ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards and adherence to QA protocols.• Ensure strict compliance with industry-specific standards, including ISO/TS 16949, and customer- specific quality requirements.• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process optimization strategies, utilizing Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.• Complete dimensional inspection of all incoming products to design drawings as detailed in the receiving inspection plan using various measurement equipment.• Communicate with supplier on product quality issues, issue Quality notices, request, and review supplier 8-D submissions.• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly plant and customer quality analysis reports for plant management so that effective reviews of the process can be made to take actions to reduce internal defects.• Communicate expectations for continuous improvement and realize incremental improvement through the application of quality tools and techniques.• Developed working knowledge of all process areas including process flow, operator responsibility, major quality attributes and areas for improvement.• Compliance decisions were taken on a product by following standards, and documented nonconforming products accompanied by the appropriate signature and authority from a manager.
