Business Solutions Knowledge Strategy Lead
CurrentAt the Bank of Canada, I manage the knowledge strategy for business solutions in the financial markets department. This role includes the following responsibilities: - Determining learning program objectives and defining scope.- Planning course structure and content.- Project management, including tracking and reporting progress and providing leadership to an instructional designer.- Interviewing subject matter experts to determine business requirements.- Writing content on key concepts for the learning management system.- Managing and communicating change to leaders and staff to ensure all are aware of their responsibilities and take advantage of the new modules.- Meeting and designing accessibility features for media content to ensure a comparable experience for all new staff.- Managing translation of modules into French.- Defining the information strategy for our teams, including:- Researching current practices and standards across multiple teams.- Documenting standards.- Achieving consensus and buy-in from all different roles.- Managing and communicating change to leaders and staff to ensure all are aware of their responsibilities.- Checking in regularly to update the dynamic strategy as we evolve.- Exploring Bank changes and innovations that will help us automate and become more efficient in how we capture knowledge.- Sharing the strategy beyond our teams to let others leverage the work.
