Internationally-known fitness enthusiast, Maddy Owens, has created a brand-new at-home workout program and outdoor fitness bootcamp designed especially for women. Women are not built like men, so it isn’t always in our best interest to work out like them! Maddy is widely known for her work in fitness DVDs such as Tony Horton's "Power 90", Autumn Calabrese's "21 Day Fix", PJ Stahl's "TABATA", Denise Austin's "Shape up and Shed Pounds" and "Fit in a Flash", Weight Watcher's "Stability Ball Core", Leslie Sansone's "Walk it Off in 30 Minutes” and “DanceStreet Lab". She holds in person credentials with Zumba, Fit Steps, TABATA, South Miami Bootcamp, and the Miami Heat Dancers. She can be spotted in commercials for Zumba's "Zumba Fitness Core", Reebok + Les Mills "Revolution", and both of Beachbody's "Shakeology" and "Performance" nutritional supplement lines. She has also been featured in both Men's Fitness and SELF Magazines. As a member of Fantashique dance company, I choreographed and mixed music for all shows, including performances on VH1’s Basketball Wives. Choreography included Jazz, Hip Hop, Burlesque, and Contemporary/Lyrical.Choreography to "Wrong Side of a Love Song" won the Choreography Award the at Turn It Up Dance Competition.

As an AGVA performer at Universal Studios Hollywood, I dance year round in the following elements: World Strides, Pit Crew, Vampire Dancers, and Who Dolls in Grinchmas. I have also served as Dance Captain in all four of these elements, as well as assisted with the choreography for three of these elements. I was recognized as Employee of the Month and have received numerous High Five cards for leadership, teamwork, and exceptional guest service. I also engage thousands of guests everyday with 10 of my friends: Curious George, Woody and Winnie Woodpecker, Agnes and Edith, Tom and Tim the minions, Bart Simpson, Dora the Explorer, and Spongebob Square Pants.

As the Artistic Director I organized all community events and performances, and well as planned and organized two Dance Recitals every year. As a Los Angeles Laker Girl, I performed at all home LA Lakers and LA D-Fenders basketball games, represented the company in various community promotions, participated in well over the required amount of charity promotions, and attended all required rehearsals and retreats. I served as a Brand Ambassador for the organization to the public, including reputable initiatives including Fit For Life and Success America. I was also recognized on the television show "Laker Girls" for my contribution to this prestigious organization.

Oasis Of The Seas

As a revue cast dancer at Royal Caribbean International, I performed in two productions shows, Hairspray the Musical and Come Fly With Me, on the Oasis of the Seas. I also performed in two parades; work backstage as a dresser for the ice show, Frozen in Time; taught two dance classes, swing and salsa; completed Character Strolls for the guests; assisted guests in reserving shows at the Box Office; mustered all guests to their designated muster stations for Emergency Drills; strength and conditioned on a daily basis; and attended weekly rehearsals and tech runs.I also worked side jobs with the Art on Royal program and the Port and Shopping program onboard the Oasis of the Seas. I assisted with Port and Shopping Shows, Art Auctions, and Gangway Promotional Modeling, processed marketing collateral, and made sure all shifts were fully staffed on a weekly basis.I was recognized with a Gold VIC Card during the Gold Awards as a Very Important Crew member.

As the President and Treasurer of the Beat Banditz Dance Crew, I was responsible for writing the bylaws of the team, booking all shows, and handling all finances. As a brand new dance crew, we earned performance spots at Universal Studios for Dance You’re a** Off’s “Dance Off A Million” Tour in Orlando FL, Orlando Magic Dancer Finals intermission in Orlando FL, opening act for Usher’s concert in Daytona Beach FL, and a Musik Festival in Ocala FL. I organized all fundraising events, collected monthly dues, recorded attendance, ordered uniforms and bags, mixed music, organized workshops, and assisted in designing our team logo.

As an equity performer at Walt Disney World, I performed in Finding Nemo the Musical. I also assisted with the It’s Tough To Be a Bug attraction and attended all required rehearsals.

As a dancer at Busch Gardens Africa, I performed in Summer Nights as a Party Starter. I performed choreographed routines as well as taught dance combinations for children and adults to learn. I hosted dance contests and never left a set without putting a smile on a guest’s face.I was nominated for Employee of the Month and was recognized with the 5 Star Champion Guest Service Award.

Miami, Florida

As a Miami Heat Dancer, I performed at all home basketball games, completed various community promotions, participated in well over the required amount of charity promotions, and attended all required rehearsals and retreats. I served as both co-captain and captain during my time with the company. I assisted Marco Fermin of Body Mechanics Fitness Group in training the dancers in preparation for photoshoots and while maintaining physical fitness during the season. I also worked as a brand ambassador of the Miami Heat and NBA in the local and international communities.I represented the NBA in Houston, Texas for the 2006 NBA All-Star Weekend and in Surabaya, Indonesia for the 2009 NBA Madness.I was recognized with the Unsung Hero Award, Outstanding Leadership Award, and the Dancer’s Choice Award after an unanimous vote. I was also recognized as Heat Dancer of the Week by CBS4.

As a trainer at South Miami Boot Camp, I taught five boot camps five days a week with classes ranging from 12 – 32 fitness enthusiasts. I also coached individuals as both a Personal Trainer and Personal Stretch Coach on an hourly basis.
