Michael is a seasoned executive and leader who is energized by operational challenges and strategic opportunity. Michael is currently focused on strengthening the CPA Pipeline, working with high school and university academia, students and candidates, Review Course Providers, and the many constituents promoting the CPA profession. Candidate retention is also key. He works very closely with his colleagues at the AICPA, his peers in the testing profession, his partners at NASBA and Prometric, the network of State Boards, State Societies, AICPA members, and the profession.Michael is passionate about his own and his staff’s leadership development. He is focused on forging deeper relationships, having the necessary difficult conversations, avoiding triangles, and essentially changing how we change; providing the emotional infrastructure for the future.Michael continues his leadership development with the Vermont Center for Family Studies (VCFS) and his research into the application of Bowen Family Systems Theory. Michael has completed Leadership Coaching Inc.’s and P.link Coaching Center for Excellence’s programs, the American Management Association (AMA) courses in Executive Leadership and Project Management, and Thomson Corporation’s Advanced Leadership Executive Development program.Michael is a 4 handicap golfer clawing his way to reaching his goal of becoming a scratch golfer. He is always looking forward to the next tournament or practice round, making as many friends as possible on the way.
