• Guide 30 high school seniors through their college and financial aid applications by setting up phone and video call appointments, connecting students with helpful resources, reading college essays, and checking-in on progress via text and email• Organized essay revision event with Writing Fellow volunteers as editors• Attend trainings to learn more about how the college process is changing due to the pandemic, how to help students with financial aid, and more• Tracked completion of key milestones such as college application completion, financial aid application completion, and college offer acceptance (all students who engaged more than 3 days reached all three of these milestones) • Engaged with 81% of students on 15+ days (compared to 51% average for the program)

• Help Let’s Get Ready smoothly transition into an online-only format• Assist 30 rising high school seniors in SAT and college application preparation by calling students biweekly, reading college essays, and connecting with students via text and email• Plan and lead Zoom meetings to facilitate discussion about building a college list, college essays, and applying financial aid to increase student understanding of and comfort with the college application process• Organized virtual visits at colleges for all students in the New England Let’s Get Ready program

As a Site Director, I coordinate Let's Get Ready's Revere site, which offers free SAT tutoring and college counseling to low-income students.
