(2012)- Responsible for facilitating tutorials, marking assignments and exams for an Environmental Toxicology class of 30 students. (2010)- Responsible for marking assignments and exams for an Environmental Policy class of 70 students. Also developed and facilitated a tutorial each week, and was a contact for any students with questions and concerns

Summer student with the Community Consultation and Regulatory Affairs group. Responsibilities included: drafting Statement of Concern responses that required completion within specific timelines, assisting group members with tasks as requested including PowerPoint presentations, Microsoft Project timelines and research of regulations or policies which could affect various projects that the team was working on. I also spent time in the field helping with tree planting checks by walking to various sites and documenting vegetation on the site. This involved taking photos and filling out forms, with the goal of improving the tree planting process. In addition, I assisted with a vegetation assessment for rare plants.

Lab assistant in the CALA (Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation Inc.) accredited laboratory. Assisted with soil sample preparation and digestion methodology, ensured all lab safety measures and techniques were followed in order to prevent cross-contamination of samples.

Position (2008) – Summer Student, as a temporary safety officer in the Corporate Compliance department. My responsibilities were monitoring safety in the field, completing safety and environmental assessments and managing the safety department’s filing system. This included maintaining, organizing and creating files for the environmental filing system.Position (2007)– Summer student in the Corporate Compliance Department. Using Paramount’s CS Explorer land data system, my responsibilities included preparing and presenting PowerPoint presentations for Operations meetings and organizing/creating files for many new and existing wells for the environmental filing system. In the field I completed environmental assessments on recently acquired properties and water sampling.
