Key responsibilities include space planning , presenting concept and layout designs, selecting finishes and materials to reflect brand and local community, interpreting landlord packages, coordinating with real estate managers, architects, vendors and the construction team.• Create branded Layout and Design Principles Manual and maintain with updates.• Interpret real estate landlord packages and review site surveys to provide feasibility recommendations.• Prepare internal design presentations that include layouts, rendered elevations, and material samples.• Prepare design documents for external architects to ensure accurate communication of the design intent and branding.• Manage project schedules and direct external architects on fit tests, drawing completion dates and permitting to ensure the accuracy, quality and timeliness of all construction documents handed to the construction team.• Plan check design drawings for design intent and accuracy from conceptual ideation through to design development phases.• Consult with internal team members and external partners to develop innovative store fixtures and capture learnings for revision and reiteration.
