I am a coffee professional who seeks opportunities to expand my knowledge of the coffee industry through travel and experiential learning with different coffee professionals around the world. I have worked in most aspects of the coffee industry from harvesting and processing to slinging espresso beverages at your local cafe or in luxury service and directly working with producers on quality analysis and green buying.With a focus on communication and outreach, I have successfully built brand voice and identity through collaboration with designers, web developers, photographers & videographers, and other creatives. My work in communication ranges from customer touch points via newsletters, social media, and digital materials to published writings in print and digital outlets such as Barista Magazine, Standart, and Lois Mag. I have also appeared on audio and video podcasts to speak on a range of topics from coffee in Hawaii, the global coffee industry, sustainability, and forging my own path: Map it Forward (2019, 2021, 2024), SolPods (2023), A Better Table (2021), Keys to the Shop (2023), and Word to Your Mama (2024).I believe in building solutions-driven relationships with my network. With an understanding that one size does not fit all, I pull from previous experience and engage with a diverse network to build bespoke programs and projects that address problem areas to create ease. I believe intentional investment is required to create efficient and effective systems within a business, from small to large.I speak Spanish at a conversational level and have experience teaching English to Spanish-speakers.I enjoy traveling in and outside of the United States for work and leisure.
