As an IT Help Desk Assistant I must utilize strong communication, phone, and computer skills. Each shift I assist, on average, 20 College of Business faculty and students with miscellaneous projects, questions, and concerns. I maintain my relationship with upper-level management by contacting IT personnel after assessing and trouble-shooting complex electronic device problems. Overall, I efficiently manage daily operations of multiple classrooms and computer labs for student usage.

Over the summer of 2018, I got the opportunity to be a Sales Associate at my family friend's newly opened restaurant. Each day, I assisted roughly 100 customers by translating the menu and providing explanations to ensure complete satisfaction. I was in charge of managing the point of sale system and would generate about $1,200 in gross revenue sales per shift. My communication skill was tested as I navigated language barriers with team members who primarily spoke Spanish.

Not only did I accumulate extensive product knowledge and communicated with customers to understand their needs, I truly understood how to balance and prioritize my tasks. I developed operational management skills through maintaining the restaurants’ space and supply chain and also implemented monetary management by working the cash register.
