Under the supervision of Amy Wright, RD I have worked on a multitude of research studies. My responsibilities entailed preparing hundreds of gram-weighed meals, analyzing caloric intake through Technology Assisted Dietary Assessment (TADA), maintain accurate records, and interpet recipes and other fixed portions.

The Bryant is restaurant that serves quality food in an upscale environment. My responsibilities entailed training and mentoring new servers and collaborate with all restaurant staff to ensure efficient and quality service.

Nome, Alaska is a remote city in the Northwest part of Alaska. Norton Sound Health Corporation is a hospital that serves the Alaskan villages of the Norton Sound region. I was one of seven interns chosen from across the country to live in Nome for 12 weeks. We worked together on a variety of food service and community centered projects to help improve the health and wellness of a Native Alaskan population. These projects included developing and administering a subarctic gardening curriculum, facilitating two community races, and creating lesson plans with nutrition and physical education for children from the ages of 3 to 13.
