I have been a dedicated breast cancer awareness advocate for many years. Starting as a concern for loved ones, my passion soon transformed into a profound hunger to understand all facets of cancer. I am fascinated by the history of cancer and the continual evolution of knowledge. I am curious about the array of treatment options and their resulting risks of recurrence. I am invested in patient care that is personalized to every individual and aimed to enhance their quality of life. The more I learn, the more I realize how multidisciplinary oncology is, and I am eager to continue exploring.As a continuation of my passion from my hometown in California to my new home in Rochester, I am thrilled to work at Pluta Cancer Foundation as the Development Coordinator. A diagnosis of cancer can be devastating, and many don’t realize the financial implications. Most cancer patients report feeling unprepared and needing to make major changes to their lifestyle or finances as a result. I am proud to support an organization that aims to provide Pluta Cancer Center patients with the necessary financial assistance and support programs to improve quality of life and cancer treatment outcomes so they can focus on what is important: their health and family.
