I have had an interest in reading for as long as I can remember and recently discovered a new passion in creative writing. Since first reading "Fancy Nancy" to an unhealthy obsession with "Twilight", reading has always been a big part of my life. Even now, slipping into current fantasy novels keeps me entertained for hours on end. Since I started my time at Texas A&M University, I have studied in a variety of writing and literature courses such as Fantasy Literature, Elements and Forms of Creative Writing, Technical and Professional Writing and Editing, and Young Adult Literature. In the fall of 2022, I started writing for A-Line Magazine, an online lifestyle and fashion magazine created and run by students on campus. As an A-Line writer, three online articles are written per semester in addition to print issue magazine created by various teams at the end of each semester. My articles have included "How to Control Female Contraceptives", "Social Media in Modern Relationships", and "Hollywood Halted". As my interest in publishing and various writing genres grew, I studied in London during the summer of 2023. Studying abroad in a new country allowed me to learn a new culture while continuing my education in literature. I continue to look for new opportunities to grow as a writer and editor while pursuing my passions as a reader.
