Deputy Branch Coordinator - Brisbane City

Responsible for the successful operational management of the Brisbane City Branch with over 350 volunteers. Played a key role in recruitment, training, rostering, relationship with and support of volunteers and patrons, combined with community engagement to increase the awareness and support of Rosies. Key skills demonstrated and responsibilities undertaken:VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT:-Supporting Team Leaders to be knowledgeable in their roles and fulfil their duties. -Ensuring rosters are up to date and communicated to the branch. -Performance management and holding volunteers and teams accountable. -Assisting with recruitment and retention of volunteers. -Assisting with training new volunteers and new Team Leaders. -Supporting succession planning for Team Leader roles. -Leading the non-outreach volunteers. -Ensuring volunteers understand and live the vision and values at Outreach. COMMUNICATIONS:-With Head Office, Team Leaders, Deputy Team Leaders, Team Members, Donors, School contacts and general public via phone, email and meetings. -Ensuring Team Leaders and Deputy Team Leaders are communicating with their Team Members. -Communications with Landlords and suppliers as required. -Emails as required. REPORTING:-Ensuring Outreach reports are completed for each scheduled outreach (up to 12 outreaches per week). -Ordering supplies through Head Offices weekly. -Ensuring incident reporting is completed where appropriate. WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY:-Ensuring Hub and Outreach environment safety and security. -Monitoring Food Safety measures at the Branch. -Ensuring equipment is adequately maintained and repaired as necessary. -Ensuring teams are aware of weather event and safety procedures. -Enforcing uniform and dress code.
