Welcome to my page!My name is Madeline and I am currently in my third year of college at American Public University on the path to my B.A. in the field of Psychology. I recently started working for a wonderful company called Cultivate. Cultivate is a company that works on early intervention using applied behavioral analysis therapy to support children who struggle with and have been diagnosed with autism. This new job has taught me many skills such as patience, empathy, determination, and resilience. I was 15 when I first entered the workforce. I began my journey as the Chick-fil-a cow mascot, "Minnie-Moo". From that point forward, I have always stayed in a relationship with the public of some form. I am a very big people person and love connecting with others. I have worked in the food industry for 4 years and I have been working with children for 7 years now. This is not the first position I have had where I tend to someone with special needs. I was a nanny for 3 years to a child who had diabetes, epilepsy, and was on the autism spectrum. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and having that feeling of fulfillment at the end of the day that I made a difference today, or at least tried my best to do so.My resilience and determination show through my achievements. Not only do I have several certifications, but I have also achieved so much academically and in life and I am proud of myself for doing so while juggling everything at once. I have navigated and mastered time management and composition under pressure. I genuinely enjoy and love working. I have only been working for 7 years, but I am excited to see where this journey takes me and my future employers!
