Maddy is client-focused and growth-oriented, having pursued her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology (B.Sc. Kin) at McGill University, and a minor in Business and Entrepreneurship. Maddy is a Certified Personal Trainer with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) and has applied her education in health sciences and skills in business development to become a top-performing Coach+ trainer at Equinox Yorkville. Maddy works with clients to develop individualized programs to attain specific results, combining fundamental training principles and dynamic, functional movements. With her Precision Nutrition Certification (PN1), her whole-person approach is enhanced through nutrition coaching. Through her time at McGill, Maddy is proud to have worked one-on-one with clients in a clinical setting at Montreal’s West Island Cancer Centre, including exercise prescription of pre-and post-operative interventions, and applying exercise as a mental and physical tool to unlock capability and autonomy. Maddy’s experience thus far has shaped her whole-person philosophy toward coaching, accounting for factors including environment, mindset, and lifestyle.
