Involves pitching story ideas, pursuing interviews and writing articles in AP Style. Specifically, the Daily’s culture desk writes human-interest stories, being soft-news articles that would interest the Norman or OU community.

Directing OU Nightly’s 30 minute newscast, which involves instructing all crew members during show.

Currently trained in every crew position, including technical directing, audio and graphics operating, live shot crew, floor directing, master control, etc.

The Honors College is intended to provide a supportive and challenging academic program with smaller classes, frequent reading and discussion. Honors distinction involves taking 18 hours of classes that fulfill requirements and maintaining GPA thresholds.
