• Assist faculty in researching topics pertaining to their current project through databases such as Expanded Academic ASAP and Military & Intelligence Database Collection• Prove the credibility and the quality of the data that has been entered in the databases and help relate the information back to the research project•Support to department through editing and preparing quality reports created from specific research carried out throughout the semester

• Provide private instruction to individuals and small groups of two or more students to improve academic performance, occupational skills, or prepare for academic tests • Demonstrate strong study habits, note-taking skills, and learning strategies while motivating students to work their hardest and promote a positive self-image • Identified the needs of students and if necessary, adapted course content and delivery style to meet their needs

An internship at the Alzheimer's Association provided real-world experience working at a not-for-profit organization and the opportunity to learn and contribute to the Association's vision of a world of spreading awareness of the disease. Throughout the internship program, I was part of the development team that allowed me to be exposed to a variety of career tracks such as: Fundraising, Program and Services Development, Public relations, Marketing, Social Media and Communications.As a Development Intern, I was personally responsible for the following: · Assisting with coordination of fundraising activities and events: i.e. Walk to End Alzheimer’s North Central Texas Chapter, ALZ Stars Running Teams, Beefsteak, and Designers Decorate Dallas Showhouse. · Conducting resource information research and outreach related to activities and events listed above. · Assisting with Walk to End Alzheimer’s team recruitment and team retention, including prospect research, marketing, cultivation, and stewardship· Recruiting and building relationships with volunteers· Researching and following up on donor inquiries and requests· Assisting with mailing and providing other administrative support when needed· Assisting with donation and data entry in Convio database

• Developed relationships with and among 20+ residents by facilitating monthly programs that created opportunities for the personal and social development of residents • Organized and structured a budget of $3,000 to that allowed me to learn the benefits of prioritizing spending and how to anticipate major costs ahead of time • Maintain the safety and community of 2600+ residents and answer duty phone calls for 13 total sorority houses of 20* people for four total weeks
