I am currently an intern supporting the Economic Development team. I have had three major projects since joining the team in May. Firstly, I am conducting comprehensive reviews of 500 grant applications, contributing to the decision-making process for funding allocation of $7.5 million to small businesses in the city impacted by the May 2024 water main break. Additionally, I am project managing the graduation celebration of the accelerator cohort for Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative, the only municipally funded incubator supporting female entrepreneurs in the nation. Lastly, I have been supporting the Fresh Food Access Initiative, working towards the Mayor’s goal of 85% of all Atlantans being within half a mile of fresh food, through launching a website and a Neighborhood profile for Westside Atlanta.
