About Madeline Preston
I am a fifth year Mathematics PhD candidate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I focus in Applied Mathematics, specifically, in fluid dynamics and PDEs. I currently work in Rich Mclaughlin and Roberto Camassa's lab at UNC. I also enjoy aiding others in the comprehension of their math education through my role as a Teaching Assistant at UNC. I have also had the opportunity to travel and pursue academic experiences outside of campus and abroad in Budapest, Hungary, complimenting my education with real world experiences.
