While studying business at the University of Dallas, I hope to grow as a person in knowledge and in character and make connections to the professional world. I lived abroad in Nairobi, Kenya for two years in high school-- my dad is an architect, so he worked with Lutherans in Africa, surveying land and drawing up plans for a seminary. This experience strengthened my faith and humility, and fostered my love for travel and learning about different cultures. I volunteered at many orphanages, nursing homes, and schools in Kenya, and I formed relationships that will last a lifetime.I believe a business degree can be applied to a number of different positions and industries, and I aspire to have an entrepreneurial mindset in whichever one I find myself.
