Through my previous work experience, I have had the opportunity to develop skills such as time management, teamwork, communication, and organization. I was able to further develop these skills when I started substitute teaching. While in the classroom, I am responsible for managing time to ensure all students have enough time to complete assignments before the end of the class period. I also needed to manage time in order to have students rotate to expected elective classes such as P.E., music, etc. I communicated with surrounding teachers in order to ensure that all lesson plans and activities were organized for the day.
