Design Interactive is a new student organization @ UW-Madison exploring the intersection between design & emerging technologies. Our mission is to provide an accessible product design education for UW-Madison students who are interested in developing an understanding of the design process, an informed awareness of people & contextual needs, and core skills in prototyping!

• Design weekly newsletters highlighting updates & sustainability education resources for 200+ recipients • Applied information architecture strategies to enhance newsletter organization and navigation• Enhanced newsletter organization and navigation using information architecture strategies

• Manage 6-8 member teams in semester-long sustainability consulting projects for local businesses • Support members through structured meetings and constructive feedback cycles • Identified and leveraged individual strengths to optimize project outcomes

Worked for the Information School in a summer position to create two Canvas courses and other various digital content.

• Managed 200+ daily inquiries from prospects and residents via in-person, email, and phone • Crafted emails aligned with the company’s image, employing common language and structural patterns• Prioritized resident needs, resolving concerns through identifying & implementing effective solutions

• Researched sustainable practices, environmental policies, and industry trends • Planned and executed the company's first carbon neutral mobile event — Madison Vegan Fest • Identified sustainability partnerships to expand our reach, including Middleton Ford Motors

• Responsible for leading groups of 10+ staff during rush hours, producing upwards of 200 orders daily • Oversaw team preparation, presentation, and delivery of food that produced high customer satisfaction• Uplifted energy and redirected efforts during slower periods throughout the day
