At Miss Porter's School, I had the opportunity to travel to Tokyo, Japan, and attend the Kichijoji Girls' School. Adapting to Japanese culture and the Tokyo lifestyle was made easy because of my welcoming host family and peers. I attended English classes, helped teach English, and learned a little Japanese along the way. As I traveled to various cities in Japan, I quickly learned the different dimensions of Japanese culture.
