Organisational Vision - Children will grow up in a society that does not condone gender inequality and the associated gender-based abuses. Haven Horizons was set up to:• Research and pilot evidence-based, best practice models • Deliver and develop education and awareness programmes • Support the development and delivery of projects at all levels of the 'Spectrum of Prevention' • Challenge societal attitudes to gender based violence and gender inequality. Haven Horizons is currently working to bring the St. Paul ‘Blueprint for Safety’ model to Ireland. The Blueprint for Safety is an evidence-based Criminal Justice System response to domestic abuse crimes developed in Minnesota. The Blueprint prioritises victim safety and perpetrator accountability.
