Associate Director, Product Strategy & eCommerce at the EY Design Studio

As a Senior Experience Design Consultant within the EY Design Studio, I help our clients bring their business strategy to the forefront through creative user experiences and digital solutions. I work closely with our clients through a co-creation process including design thinking workshops, persona creation, journey mapping and more to help them uncover possibilities and drive their organization forward.

Worked within the Customer Strategy advisory group to consult on a variety of clients across various industries. Within this role, I was part of an Application Rationalization and Infrastructure Optimization engagement for a large Canadian financial institution, an SAP roll-out for a major Canadian retailer, and a Design Thinking engagement which helped a large Canadian financial institution better understand their customers and the future of digital banking, among many others.

As the Corporate Relations Officer for the Queen's Commerce Society, it was my responsibility to manage the relationships between the Society and our corporate partners. I took responsibility for ensuring our corporate partners found value in their partnerships, while helping internal student groups find success in their sponsorship endeavors.

As Co-Chair, I was responsible for hiring and overseeing a team of 25 executive members to host events during the year that give women exposure to recruitment and learning opportunities as well as mentorship from our professional network. The ultimate task was to work with my team to organize a conference for 120 delegates, 20+ sponsors, and 9 speakers in October 2017.

Oversaw a 5 figure budget; increased profitability from the 2015 year by 15% by developing a strategic spending framework.

Worked in within the Financial Services Advisory Practice at Ernst & Young for a summer placement where I worked closely with three separate groups on projects in the finance, industrial, and gambling industries respectively. My responsibilities varied considerably for each role, but my organization, careful thought process, ability to brainstorm and reliability in a team was what lead me to succeed. Was offered a full-time role beginning in 2018.

Requirements include hosting tutorials, proctoring tests and quizzes, and working with students to clarify course material. Required to excel at time management and organization to coordinate the role with academic and extra-curricular commitments. Work with Professors to improve course curriculum.

Selected for the role of a campus ambassador after completing a summer internship. Tasked with acting as a liaison between new talent at Queen’s University and the Hudson’s Bay Company. Responsibilities included attending career fairs, meeting with potential job candidates, and participating in weekly conference calls. Increased application numbers were seen for the 2017 year as a result of the ambassador program; I ended my term by working with senior management to help select the most qualified candidates.

Performed thorough and complex analysis of large data sets on excel, and quickly became competent in RFS, CMS and SPIbuy. Completed a customer analysis for upper management that was used to assess the optimal product mix and resulting profitability that was to be expected for new store openings in 2017.

Worked at the tech start-up assisting with implementing software into numerous golf course software systems. Completed various jobs and took initiative to enhance the productivity of the company with respect to golfer participation, and partnerships with courses.
