Hi, my name is Madeline. I'm not afraid of mice, and I love winter, snow, and ice. I was named after the children's book character, and although my hair isn't red and I still have my appendix, I see a reflection of myself in her unwavering curiosity and determination.I am adaptable, detail-oriented, and driven with a passion for environmental, social, and economic sustainability. I’m committed to using my career to help others, and my role as the Fresh Access Bucks (FAB) Market Coordinator with Florida Organic Growers has only heightened this. The FAB program works to provide those with SNAP benefits access to Florida-grown produce, and the gratitude from customers and vendors alike is inspiring. In my first two weeks, I distributed over $1,000 worth of fresh fruits and veggies to local community members living within 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.I’m interested in a career at the intersection of agriculture and analytics, and I would love to work on projects that use data to advance local value chains, enhance food security, and reduce waste. While I often receive good luck remarks when I share this, I am confident that my creativity, flexibility, and problem-solving skills will help me achieve my goals and make an impact.
