Because I joined Wyoming Truth as a founding member when it was a very new non-profit, I have assisted and participated in many roles as the organization expands. As the Community Outreach Coordinator, I have created a PowerPoint and script to use when I meet with other organizations via Zoom and deliver presentations discussing Wyoming Truth and its impact. I first worked with Wyoming Truth as an intern in 2021; in 2022, I ran the summer internship program. I participated in a panel discussion hosted by the 2022 EuroMedia Conference with other Wyoming Truth affiliates; we focused on the importance of non-partisan news reporting in a worldwide age of partisanship. I perform a variety of administrative duties such as creating the 114-page Wyoming Truth binder. I have also written journalistic articles focusing on a range of topics including undocumented workers and social inequality and the Teton County affordable housing crisis and economic inequality.

I constructed legal articles to upload on two legal informational websites. I utilized writing, research and journalism skills to craft unique articles for pre-law students. I focused on timely topics weekly in order to inform and entertain the audience.

I instructed twelve, advanced, fifth-grade students in reading and writing. I discussed vocabulary and read passages out loud with students to teach inflection and understanding while focusing on summaries, themes and quotes of ten short stories. I utilized mental organizational skills in writing to form strong, well-reasoned response paragraphs. I participated in the drama and poetry unit with a focus on dramatization, projection and figurative language.

I co-created a video class on cognitive bias to encourage success post-graduation. I tutored at-risk youth in geometry, English and ACT prep to score competitively. I graded online classes, coached and encouraged at-risk students to stay and thrive in school and beyond.

I worked with members, handled cash and oversaw new tellers in accordance with company policy. I built member relationships with excellent member service to encourage member loyalty and collaborated with team and business partners to effectively communicate and complete tasks. I maintained member and credit union confidentiality and security while always upholding protocol.

I initiated intercultural exchange between Wyoming, USA and Shanxi Province, China to further the U.S.-China Initiative. In this exchange, legislatures from Wyoming traveled to Shanxi Province to learn about energy technology and policy. Wyoming and Shanxi Province are both energy capitals of the world so this exchange resulted in a better understanding of new technological and policy ideas along with an understanding of two drastically different cultures.

The Murie family focused on the natural environment in Wyoming and in Alaska. The location of several of their former cabins in Moose, Wyoming is now a National Historic Landmark which memorializes the family's work. I researched the Murie family, administered several tours of up to 25 visitors daily and maintained upkeep of the ranch.

Throughout the busy, summer, "tourist season", I worked with customers, represented Pearl Street Market with positive customer service and was entrusted with money in line with the professional goals of the store. I also created an organizational system to aid in inventory management.

As a liaison between delegates from the former Soviet Union and members of Congress based in Washington, D.C., I focused on intercultural exchange and understanding. I compiled informational packets for the membesr of Congress to review prior to their meetings with the delegates. I wrote the Era Foundation report and ghost wrote a letter between Ambassador O’Keefe and Senator Alexander to secure key funding.

I taught an eight-year-old to read which allowed him to catch up in his studies. I customized lessons to him to increase confidence while inspiring the desire to learn. I aimed to motivate the student to continue in school.

I conceptualized and instigated an enjoyable and educational summer camp for six preteen girls. I organized the camp around unique schedules and interests while arranging appropriate activities. I guided the camp with outdoor and indoor summer activities to enhance learning over the summer
