Growing up in beautiful Jackson, Wyoming next to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park, I reveled in nature, especially exercising outside. When I later had open-heart surgery for a hole in my heart which I was born with—ten years later—I realized I had a new lease on life. A renewed appreciation of the people around me and the challenges many people face inspired me to embark upon a new career path. As a 2020 graduate from University of Colorado, Boulder, I hope to use this lease on life to assist those who need a voice. I use my strong work ethic, communication skills, teamwork, time-management, organizational skills and desire to create positive change in this endeavor.
