The CHCI Congressional Internship Program (CIP) provides college students of any major with a paid placement in a congressional office for a period of 12 weeks. Promising Latino undergraduates and recent graduates from across the country are selected for this unmatched leadership training program. Students gain work experience, participate in community service, and receive educational and professional programming provided by CHCI.

A six-month, hybrid leadership development program designed to provide a network of support, professionalism and career empowerment for Latinas in higher education.

During March and February, I attended worker/ballot system training administered by LA County as well as assist residents to vote for the presidential primary election.

As a HS Intern for JL72 campaign, I canvassed neighborhoods of California’s 72nd District, gathered community input to report to campaign manager, as well as promoted the participation of younger high school students with the local politics of democracy.
