I currently work for Pacific Dental Services, which is a large cooperation around the US. Working for this job, I assist an Endodontist in performing root canals. I help hand instruments, do notes as well as clean and steralize. This job has helped me in time management, as it was one of the things I wanted to work on, through this job, i have excelled in doing so. I work extremely close with the patient’s that we see. I am extremelly outgoing so this part of the job is pretty easy for me. In terms of notes, I do all patient reconcilation of medications and medical history, as well as explain disgnosis and prescribe medication. I am currently working to find something either remote or closer to home in Greeley, CO.

While working at Integrated Dental Arts I was introduced to the world of patient intake and insurance. I had the duties of cash handling for outgoing and incoming patients, scheduling appointments both in person and over the phone, as well as working with insurance companies to pull benefits for these patients. During my time working here I went through OSHA and HIPPA training as well as a 5 star phone call program. I learned a lot about communication, organization as well as the correct way to take phone calls and answer patient's questions.

The duties that were required in my position were teaching children how to swim based on our curriculum. We used technique, communication, as well as time management to fullfill the role. Many accomplishments came out of this position and company, these include, knowing a lot about time management, how to communicate with children, and in addition, built my own teaching techniques.
