Recovery Technician/Advocate in a residential treatment center for women with substance use disorder. Role includes helping clients with transportation, helping clients with admission and discharge paperwork, collecting UAs, distributing mail, and working with clinical staff to maintain the health and safety of all clients and their children on-site. As a lead, in-charge of making sure clients make it to their appointments, training new RA staff, reviewing department adequacy and identifying areas for growth with other leads and supervisor, and making sure department is fully staffed when on-call. Additionally, when nursing is not on-site, distributing medications for clients as scheduled or needed.

Managed the schedules for employees of the child care facility run at Grand Targhee Ski Resort. Additionally, worked directly with kids age six months to six years in the child care facility ensuring the safety and enrichment of all children. Coordinated activities with other child care attendants each day. Activities included indoor and outdoor play, reading, writing, art projects, and conflict mediation education.

Worked in the front office of a dude ranch taking reservations, checking guests in and out, and making sure everything on the administrative side of the ranch ran smoothly. Additionally, made the schedule for other seasonal office employees and ensured the weekly schedule for guests was updated and posted. Processed mail delivered to the main office and ensured it was recieved by the correct department.

Yellow House Community (YHC) is a family-style intentional living community located in Middlebury, Vermont designed to provide adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with safe, residential family households, meaningful vocation, and the assistance needed to continue developing skills, interests, and relationships. YHC is inspired by the Camphill life-sharing community model. Sidekicks work alongside YHC staff to support a group of 4 - 10 young adults with special needs for programming and community activities including life skills, cooking, household chores, farming, art, gardening, exercising, and peer engagement.

Worked with a team to onboard participants, collect data, design studies, write up results for publication, and present results to the public. Collaborated with the rest of the lab to design participant incentives and survey formatting. Presentations included local conferences held at the college as well as international conferences such as the ICPS.

Screened patients in the emergency room for substance use disorders, connecting them with resources and members of the LEADs team as needed. When risky substance use is identified, patients are provided with an appropriate intervention.

Worked in the Columbia Opioid Research Center screening participants over the phone for studying, recruiting potential participants through tabling, assisting with organizational tasks, collected urine samples for screening, and participated in weekly lab meetings.
