I believe sustainability should be at the core of everything we do. I'm a senior studying Sustainability and Anthropology at San Diego State. I love being in the field, as well as in the office, handling organizational tasks and making sure everything is running as efficiently as possible. I have volunteered for various environmental programs, and I'm ready to take that to the next step!I have worked for Sweet Aloha Bowls for six years, a health food cafe on the East Coast. My role as Assistant Manager has provided me invaluable insight to the current sustainable products available to businesses, their effectiveness, and how small businesses operate. I have also worked at Starbucks on SDSU's campus, and this unique, fast-paced environment has developed my customer service experience skills, as well as my ability to manage working under high pressure.I interned for the Office of Supervisor Joel Anderson, and serving District 2 has given me the opportunity to engage with my community members and do the work to make our community a better place. I currently work at North Park Nursery and intern with EarthHop, a program bringing environmental and artistic education to students in San Diego and Puerto Rico.
